Cuisinart Coffee Maker Charcoal Water Filters

Cuisinart Coffee Maker Charcoal Water Filters
The water filter makes your coffee delicious just the way you crave. Ask any coffee connoisseur, great tasting coffee is more than using great quality beans-using the right quality of water is equally important. Simply put, great tasting water makes great tasting coffee. Apart from taste, the filter also ensures you're not ingesting harmful chemicals as it removes chlorine, calcium, bad tastes and odors from tap water to give you the purest cup of coffee you can get this side of the Amazon. The filter lasts almost two months and can be easily replaced. Not just a recommendation, but a necessity, the water filter shows you the difference between gourmet tasting coffee and just any coffee. While some things in life can be overlooked, compromising on a great cup of coffee is definitely not on the list. Brew your coffee the right way to get the flavor you want without the chemicals and odors you don't. Generic Water filters. Bulk packaging.

Had my Cuisinart Coffee maker for years. Never knew there was a filter that had to be replaced. I found out when I purchased the Medelco #4 Cone Permanent Coffee filter. I thought I'd give it a shot and purchase the filter. The old filter was disgusting (what a shock]. The taste of the coffee improved 100%. I will change it every month from now on. I thank Amazon for showing me other products bought when the Permanent Cone Filter is purchased.

These look like the Cuisinart brand of filters. However the covering does not seem to be quite as thick or sturdy as others I've used. Also there seems to be less charcoal inside. The instructions that came with the coffee maker say to run cold water through the filter before first use. There was a lot of black charcoal residue that leaked out. The others never did this.

When I purchased my new coffee maker last year, some reviewers said they didn't bother with the filter but others swore by it. To me, it's a small price to pay for the amount of use that I get from my coffeemaker to insure that I get a decent cup of coffee. I definitely noticed the difference when I took it out & didn't filter the water, & I don't have bad tap water, it just tastes fresher. Maybe it's psychological but in my opinion, it's worth it.
